Instead, recruiters and industry professionals want to learn quickly about who you are, how you can provide value, and how you can help them reach their goals. When building your profile, keep in mind that readers will be scanning for key information, so use bullet points, headlines, and other formatting markers to make your content easy to read. 2. Update your profile settings.
Nothing is more annoying to your LinkedIn connections than being notified of every edit you make. Before you begin to overhaul your profile, under your privacy settings, make sure you turn off the option to share changes.
